UA Law student promoted to Air Force Captain at U of A Scottsdale Center

The GCR Maricopa County office in Scottsdale recently served as the backdrop for the special promotion ceremony of a UA School of Law student who has served our country for the past 10 years. Justin Bowen is attending UA Law under a program called the Funded Legal Education Program, allowing him to leave his field career in the Air Force and transition to law school in a full-time, active-duty role. After graduation, Bowen will transition to the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps, providing commanders and personnel with a full spectrum of legal support. Bowen came into the room filled with his UA Law classmates (one who sang the National Anthem!), family and friends as a 1st Lieutenant and left as a Captain!
