Leadership Academy celebrates graduation of Phoenix youth

The U of A Scottsdale Center recently hosted the Diversity Leadership Alliance Youth Academy graduation, celebrating a new cohort of emerging student leaders from across Phoenix.

The monthly leadership program—led by experienced diversity practitioners and business and leadership consultants—equips students with essential skills they are already putting into action through school organizations, community service, and volunteer work.

More than 100 juniors and seniors from the Phoenix Union High School District, along with their dedicated counselors, attended the event. The celebration featured a keynote speaker, a Taco Tuesday lunch catered by Helpings Café at UMOM New Day Centers, and the awarding of scholarships to several graduating seniors to support their post-secondary journeys.
